The Epic Comedy Continues

Last evening, Greco made his triumphal entry into the Parish Center.

For those of you unfamiliar with Greco's past, read this article

He was originally purchased as a gift and unifying mascot for the Youth Ministry program.  After a few falls, and near-deadly blows (as recounted in this poem), Greco was restored.  However, around the time of Halloween 2010, disloyalty arose within the group, and a warring faction came forward with the intent to destroy our hero once and for all.

They succeeded in their quest to desecrate and destroy Greco during the March for Life trip in Washington, DC.  Here, morale reached a low point.

Yet, in those late winter months that followed, word began to spread of a springtime resurrection.  Hope prospered and finally blossomed last evening.

More must be said about what this event means for us (probably later this week).  One can only hope for a period of peace and an end to unjust violence and rage against our timeless hero.

  1. Greco is for all the people! Let there be peace. Ask not what Greco can do for you, but ask what you can do for Greco.

  2. This whole resurrection reminds me of Voldemort's return in Harry Potter. Just read the way Brad wrote the article. Am I not correct?
